Full Circle is a free, local support, play and informative gathering for parents and infants through the preschool years. It offers free breastfeeding support, community and diapers for all families in San Marcos.

Connections Individual and Family Services 

Connections Individual and Family Planning Services provides services to empower youth, connect families and build futures. If you are a resident of Caldwell County, Connections provides services for enhancing youth resiliency and counseling for children, teens and families. The youth resiliency program is a series of lessons focused on developing a positive self-concept, making healthy choices for your mind and body, acting responsibly, treating others the way you want to be treated, being honest with yourself, and improving yourself daily. Counseling is free and those who can qualify should have children 0-17 years old who are not receiving formal services from juvenile probation and are not involved with Child Protective Services due to abuse or neglect. Online Weekly Support Group hosted by Postpartum Support International:

Join the meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone. Get comfortable and listen and share your stories about motherhood. Meetings in Spanish offered. Click here to register. ​

Chat with an expert: ​Postpartum Support International (Wednesday Chats for Moms).

During these sessions you can connect with other moms, and talk with a PSI expert about resources, symptoms, options and general information about perinatal mood and anxiety disorders from the privacy of your own phone. There is no need to pre-register or give your name. These sessions, facilitated by licensed mental health professionals, are informational only and open to anyone with questions and concerns. Limited to the first 15 callers. 
  • The PSI HelpLine is a toll-free telephone number anyone can call to get basic information, support, and resources. 
  • Dial extension 1 for Spanish and extension 2 for English. 
  • The HelpLine messages are returned every day of the week. You are welcome to leave a confidential message any time, and one of the HelpLine volunteers will return your call as soon as possible. If you are not able to talk when the volunteer calls you, you can arrange another time to connect. The volunteer will give you information, encouragement, and names of resources near you.

Black Mamas Community Collective Monthly Support Groups

Group for new mothers to share their experience and support one another through building community in the early days of parenting. Sister Circle Support Groups help give new mothers the opportunity to speak with other mothers to incorporate best reproductive practices and to build community fellowship. Meetings are free and childcare is provided at no cost.

Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC)

CTMC hosts free support and activity groups. Support and activity groups include:  
  • WEIGHT MANAGEMENT Weight Loss Surgery Support Group - Monthly meetings for those considering weight loss surgery, those preparing for surgery and for those adapting to the post-surgery lifestyle. Call 512.753.3511 for dates and times.

  • STROKE/BRAIN INJURY - Hope for Stroke & Brain Injury Support Group - Caregivers and survivors are not alone. Meet others who understand and can help. Snacks, drinks, support, information and compassion are all free. Learn more when you call 512.753.3539.
